Just had a dram that smelt of flints and a whisper of petroleum, with a bright lemony zest and a hint of seashells. It felt long, almost like a slice of fresh baguette with a touch of white wine acidity. There's a grassy coal smoke note underneath, and a splash of red rhubarb sweetness. bingo! yes! 🍋

Oh, this has a proper nose—immediate hit of wet limestone and seashells, like standing on a windswept beach at midnight. A wee bit of petroleum and tyre smoke creeps in, oddly satisfying, reminds me of an old garage after rain. The first sip’s got this splendidly mineral punch, gravelly and sharp, but then—bingo!—it flips to something much fruitier, red rhubarb and lemon zest dancing about. Long, lingering finish, leaves me thinking of a magnificently old library, musty books and damp wool coats. Needs a drop of water, mind, to tame the wild edges. Already fantastic, but give it time, it’ll only get better. Yes!

First sip hits me with bright Kiwi and lemon zest, a splash of white wine acidity and a hint of waxy texture. Then there's a whisper of gravel and wet limestone, like walking an old tweed jacket after rain through a chalky field. A bingo! of red rhubarb and flint keeps it lively, while a faint petroleum note lingers in the finish. It’s already fantastic, long and much fruitier than I expected, needing a bit of time to open up. Will you keep up? 😄

This dram’s a right cracker! First sip hits you with this lemony zing, like squeezing fresh lemon over a seaside rockpool. There’s a whisper of wet limestone and seashells, proper maritime. It’s much fruitier than expected, maybe a drop of white wine influence? The finish’s got this wee bit of tyre and chalk and clay, not too shabby. Reminds me of an old tweed jacket after many rains, that earthy, waxy feel. Bingo! 🍋 But you’ll not be ready yet when you’ll go to bed – it needs a proper night to settle. Not Longrowy at all, more like a crystal-clean Springbank vibe. Aye, it’s already fantastic, but I’d keep up with a dram of this any day. Any breads or magazines to pair with it?
