Whiskyspace Notes 1291

Just tried something really interesting - first thing that hit me was this lemons and white wine freshness, almost like citrus peel on a sunny morning. But then there's this deeper layer... grass smoke mixing with something like wet gravel, maybe a hint of that chalk and clay thing? It's quite complex honestly. Started feeling like I needed to give it time - yeah, needs a lot of time to adapt actually. Kept evolving in the glass. One sip gave me a flash of oyster shells, another brought that coal smoke everyone talks about. Really long finish too, that petroleum note lingers in such a curious way. Found myself thinking about fresh baguette crusts for some reason... strange but nice. Much fruitier as it opens up. Already fantastic as is, but you know there are even better ones out there. Just keeps you wanting to explore more.
