First nose in, I get this earthy mushroom and moss vibe, like a forest after rain. There's a smoky punch and pine needles jumping out, quite bold and tight on the palate. Not the usual soft mellow stuff – it's got a medicinal herbal edge, maybe some camphor and ambergris in there. The finish is long and elegant, with hints of fern and essential oils lingering. Doesn't go down easy, mind, needs a splash of water to tame it. Very refined, but not for the faint-hearted. 🥃✨

This one’s got a lovely gold hue and a lemony kick upfront. There’s a real earthy side here – moss, roots, even a hint of pine needles and mushrooms. Smoky and medicinal notes dance around, but it’s not overpowering. The finish is long and elegant, with a touch of camphor and essential oils. Feels tight, like it’s held together perfectly. A bit of bitter herbs in there too, adding depth without being harsh. Really refined, like something that’s been aged just right.

Tried this one last night. First sip hits you with a really punchy pine and smoky vibe, almost like sniffing a wet jacket after a forest walk. 🌲 Not soft and mellow at all – more like biting into fresh hazelnuts with some bitter herbs. Gets a bit medicinal if you sip it straight, but add a drop of water and it opens up beautifully. The piney notes turn into this lovely essential oil finish that just hangs around forever. Kinda feels like digging your hands into damp moss and roots after rain. There's a certain cohesion to it, even with all those earthy, tertiary notes going on. 👍

The coherence’s proper tight, every note locking in—ambergris sneaks up, that marine musk, and it’s just long. No rush, no mess, just a proper sit-down with a whisky that knows its own mind.
