Whiskyspace Notes 1265

Right, so I cracked this one open last night and honestly the nose was fantastic — proper chestnut honey, almost like the best of honeys you'd get at a farmer's market. Got a bit of walnut cake too, lovely stuff. First sip and I'm thinking brownies, toasts, something most balsamic about it if that makes sense. Then more oak spices came through, quite a few actually. There's this strong green tea thing going on, and I swear I caught myself crunching some pine needle in my head 😂 Really reminds me of having tea at the Balmoral, that kind of refined but cozy vibe. Much less dusty than some I've tried lately. All in keeping with the nose honestly, which is nice when that happens. The finish is long, Very lovely actually. Got some assorted beverages notes creeping in at the end — like word for word what I wrote down last time was "much better than expected" and yeah, same feeling here. The strongest impression I get is just... warmth and comfort really. Not trying to be anything fancy, just solid quality stuff 🥃
