Blimey, this whisky is complex, isn't it? 🤯 I get hints of dried bananas and overripe apples, it's like a fruit salad in a glass. And there's this subtle little leek flavour, sounds weird but it works, mate. The beeswax and waxes made on Islay give it a smooth, velvety feel. It's incredibly drinkable, refreshing, and has a lovely salty kick. I can taste the quinces and fresh quinces, like a sweet and tangy mix. The lime leaves and citrons add a nice citrusy zing. It's not the longest finish, but it's splendid while it lasts. Reminds me of a warm summer day, sipping on a honeydew mead, feeling like the king of the castle 🏰. The little oak and camphor notes sneak in, but they're not overpowering. It's like a dollop of old cognac, rich and luxurious. Reacts well to water, too. All in all, a cracking good whisky, if I do say so myself 😊.

This one’s got a right zesty kick up front – proper lemony and citrony, like squeezing a bit of fruit into your dram. There’s that Clynelish-quality thing going on, all smooth and honeyed, but then it swings into overripe apples and fresh quinces, almost like apple juice but with more bite. The salty edge sneaks in, reminds me of a seaside breeze, and the waxes from Islay give it this waxy, slightly camphor-ish hug. Dried bananas and mead sweetness mingle weirdly well, like dessert and something herbal, while lime leaves add a green, refreshing twist. It’s complex but not the longest forever – leaves you wanting another sip, though. Chartreuse-y hints linger, like something floral and a bit funky. Proper moreish, this one. 🥃

Just had a dram that reminded me of old cognac meets honeydew, with a touch of oak and overripe apples. There's a lovely salty edge, like sea breeze, and a hint of beeswax and lemony zest. Fresh quinces and a whisper of lime leaves make it feel bright and refreshing. Quite complex, splendid sip. 😊

这酒颜色真漂亮，像融化的金子。第一口就尝到好多蜜蜡和蜂蜜酒的味道，特别温暖。 让我想起夏天果园里的榅桲和青梅，还有熟透的苹果。慢慢喝，能尝到香草和一点点柠檬草的清新。🌿 后味有点咸咸的，像海风混着香草。有人说它像赫布里底群岛的女王，我觉得确实有种优雅的复杂感。 虽然余味不算特别长，但整体非常易饮，一杯接一杯完全停不下来。🍯✨

Right, cracked this one open last night and had a proper nose of it. Instantly got this lovely waxy thing – honestly the waxiest dram I've had in ages, very Clynelish-quality if you know what I mean. Loads of honeydew and fresh quinces on the nose, almost like fresh apple juice but richer. Taste-wise it's quite complex. Getting overripe apples, a bit of lemony citrus, and this interesting chartreuse-y herbal note underneath. There's even dried bananas in there somewhere which threw me a bit. Touch of beeswax and a subtle leek thing going on – sounds odd but it really works. Has this old cognac quality to it, very smooth and elegant. Slightly salty finish which is refreshing. Only downside is it doesn't linger quite as long as I'd like, but still absolutely splendid stuff. Would happily have another glass. 🥃
