The nose hits you with orange squash and lemon liqueur, proper sweet and zesty like a fruit salad. First sip is all plum spirit and this eau-de-vie-ish vibe, with a creamy, dairy-like mouthfeel that’s oddly smooth. There’s a nutty almondy edge too, but the young malt whisky base makes it feel a bit raw—almost like biting into an unripe pear. The finish is slightly burnt, lingerin’ a bit too long for my liking, but the raw kirsch punch keeps things lively. Not bad, just lacks a bit of personality, y’know? Still, it’s jolly good if you fancy somethin’ straightforward and feisty.

Had a dram that tasted like kirsch straight from the still – bright, a bit like orange squash and lemon liqueur mixed together. It’s very young unpeated malt whisky, nicely young but hasn’t got much singularities, feels a bit like sweet porridge with a splash of vodka. Finish is quite long, kind of white wine meets plum spirit. Overall good and bad at the same time, reminds me of Pure kirsch straight from your Holstein. 😄

Oh, this one’s a right cheeky little number—like a young lad who’s still got all his energy but hasn’t quite figured himself out yet. First sip’s got that orange squash brightness, like a summer’s day in the garden, but then it hits you with a lemon liqueur kick—sharp as a barmaid’s tongue. Feels feisty, like it’s got a spring in its step, but it’s still too young to settle down proper. Then there’s this plum spirit depth, almost like someone’s just poured a shot of kirsch into it—raw and unfiltered, no nonsense. Smells like bread dough fresh from the oven, warm and doughy, but with a vodka chill to it, like someone’s mixed it with a dash of the stuff. The yoghurt note’s a bit odd, almost like it’s been left in the sun too long, but it’s not Holstein cheese, thank God—just a faint tang. The eau-de-vie side’s there too, that burnt aftertaste like a candle’s just gone out, but it’s not slightly burnt—it’s more like a proper little flawless surprise. Very young unpeated malt with a white wine freshness, like a glass of Sauvignon Blanc that’s still got that zing. Nicely young, but it’s not got that singularity yet—feels a bit like a blank canvas, waiting to be filled in. Still, it’s jolly good for what it is. Not got that distillery character yet, but it’s got dairy cream smoothness and a sweet porridge warmth that makes you want to keep going. Just needs a bit more time to grow up, but right now? It’s a proper little character. 🥃

A bit feisty and young, honestly – no obvious distillery character, lacks singularities. Almost like vodka mixed with white wine, with a dash of orange squash. Creamy dairy cream lingers, though there’s a slightly burnt aftertaste. Quite long finish! A bit too young for my taste, but still a fun sip. 😊

Jolly good this one! Tastes like a very young unpeated malt whisky, almost like a feisty plum spirit mixed with white wine 🍷. Kinda reminds me of those Holstein eaux-de-vies, you know? Pretty immature but nicely young, with raw kirsch and lemon liqueur popping up. Got that bread dough and sweet porridge thing going on, maybe a hint of almondy finish. Doesn’t have a singular distillery character, almost vodka-like at times but with more life. Finish is quite long but leaves a slightly burnt aftertaste, a bit eau-de-vie-ish honestly. Not flawless, but fun to try! 😄
