This one's got a big and creamy mouth feel, really coats the tongue. I notice some ashy notes and a grassy vibe, not particularly complex but hey, simplicity can be an asset. There's whiffs of wet newspapers, kinda quirky. The putty-like side grows bigger as it sits, and it finishes long, clean, and perfect. Hints of pink grapefruits pop up too. Very different from the 1981 I remember. 👍

Just had a dran of this whisky. It's not particularly complex, but hey, simplicity can be an asset. Less smoky than I expected, with a big and creamy mouth feel that's really pleasent. Got some interesting notes – like anchovies and kippers, which might sound odd but works. Also, whiffs of wet newspapers, and truckloads of lemons giving it a citrusy kick. There's grass and straw in there too, with a briney edge. Compared to the 1981, this one's very different – younger, narrower, but the putty-like side grows bigger as you drink. A bit ashy overall, but I quite like it. 😊

Right, had a dram of this one last night and it's quite something. Definitely younger than what I usually go for, and honestly very different from the 1981 I tried ages ago. Much less smoky than I expected — almost no peat at all, which threw me a bit. On the nose I got this straw and grass thing going on, like standing in a meadow after it's rained. Then some lemon came through, and a touch of pink grapefruits which was rather nice actually. 🍋 The mouth feel is big and creamy, really coats the tongue. There's this briney, almost salty edge to it — reminded me a bit of kippers at breakfast, weirdly enough. And as it sits in the glass, this putty-like side grows bigger and bigger, if that makes any sense. Hard to describe but quite distinctive. Not my usual pick but I'd pour another glass tbh. Nice for a change. 🥃

这杯感觉比较年轻，一上来是那种苦杏仁和粉红西柚的混合感，柠檬味很足，像是扔了一堆柠檬进去。 烟熏味淡了，带点灰烬的质感。让我想到海边晒着的咸鱼，还有海风的那种咸腥味。 口感倒是挺厚实的，奶油一样。整体比较直接，没那么多层次。 grassy的清新感和报纸受潮的那种 whiff 也挺有意思。 简单点挺好，跟以前喝过的某个年份版本真的很不一样。
