This dram’s a proper surprise mate – brilliant rocket fuel at first nose, but not mental. Got this brilliant cereal-based drink vibe, like porridge front and centre, but then it’s wonderfully zesty with touches of pineapple and white peaches. Not sweet at all, no dull sweetness here – just this uebercitric kick that’s almost exceptional, honestly. Reminds me of Pouilly-Fumé made in Scotland if that makes sense, with chalky undertones and a hint of menthol. The x-fill casks definitely let the spirit do the talking, keeps it fresh leaven through. There’s banana liqueur somewhere in the mix too, but without any passion fruit or mango – more like gooseberries and guavas dancing about. Long finish, proper tropical without being over the top. Don’t expect fireworks, but it’s brilliant – loves water if you’re into that, sorts the nervy edges right out.

Proper tropical vibes, loads of banana liqueur and guavas, with this long, almost mojito-like zing from the strong lemon stuff. Not mental or anything, just effortlessly smooth. Got this weird but brilliant touch of fennel and dill floating about, like a garden salad got into a fight with a tropical punch. The x-fill casks definitely let the spirit do the talking – no mucking about, no cloying sweetness. Tastes like white peaches and gooseberries got sunburnt, then cooled down with a splash of Pouilly-Fumé made in Scotland. If you’re after something that’s not a fruit cake but still got a bit of character, this’ll sort you right out. 🍋✨

Had a dram this evening and felt a bit nervous at first, but it settled quickly. The nose hit me with fennel and dill, a tiny menthol edge and a bright lemon zing. don’t expect much passion fruit or mango – it’s all about the stone fruit and citrus, like white peaches, guavas and greengages, with a pop of gooseberries and a strong lemon liqueur punch. It’s wonderfully zesty, almost like brilliant rocket fuel, but without any dull sweetness. I could swear there’s a perfect sauvignony development in the background, and the finish is crisp, a bit like a small cream label series – not mental at all, just almost exceptional. 🍋🥃

这家伙简直就是一杯劲爆的柠檬白葡萄酒！ 🍋⚡ 头一口像是被柠檬汁和白葡萄酒的清新劲儿给电到了，但又不是那种疯狂的热带水果狂轰滥炸——顶多就是几丝菠萝渣子和香蕉甜酒的余韵，挺克制的。 加了水就变成了“白垩山泉加柠檬汁”，那股矿物感和绿色水果的酸爽劲儿出来了，像是去年夏天在花园里摘的醋栗和青梅子。喉咙后头还藏着点薄荷味儿，像是嚼了块清凉薄荷糖，但一点不夸张。 最后那股子粥味儿和白桃的奶油感让人回味无穷，简直就是早餐麦片加水果拼盘的升级版。 🥣🍑 说它“almost exceptional”一点都不为过，就是那种让人忍不住再倒一杯的货色。
