Totally spectacular dram, totally beautiful colour like light amber. First sniff brings pine needles, green fruits, a grating of nutmeg and rosewater, with a hint of eucalyptus and camphor. On the palate it's syrupy, cocoa, dark chocolate, honey, sultanas and quince paste, feeling like glycerol liquid sloshing, with an impression of fat and a Majestic palate. Adding water makes the Gewurz notes louder, brings out tinned lychee syrup, lapsang souchong and a menthol touch, while the wax and soft wood resins linger. Earthier notes of dried mushrooms, earth, balsamico and mustard power appear, finishing long with rose jelly, wild flowers and a hint of chilli pepper. Gah! bottles scarce and unaffordable but worth it 😄

Blimey, took a sip and got hit with a whiff of camphor and lapsang souchong, like a smoky tea mixed with olive oil and a dash of chilli pepper. Then rose jelly and tinned lychee syrup swirl in, tropical fruits and a hint of honey, while the wax and soft wood resins give it that glycerol liquid sloshing feel. A touch of menthol, eucalyptus and pine needles pop up, with dried mushrooms and cocoa adding earthier depth. The palate feels majestic, a bit of mustard power and grating of nutmeg, and the finish is long, leaving impressions of fat, quince jelly and rosewater. Totally. Forgot that this is 63.5%!

第一次尝到这酒时，Gah! 了一声，太惊艳了。香气里飘着玫瑰果冻和野花，还有点淡淡的茉莉。喝下去后，黑巧克力和香料的味道慢慢散开，后劲带点辣椒的暖意。加了点水，Gewurztraminer 的 notes 更响亮了，像陈年葡萄酒，配上榅桲酱和榅桲 jelly 的甜感。 酒体油润，有橄榄油和脂肪的印象，口感 syrupy，带着软木树脂和树脂的复杂。回味超长，带点松针、肉桂 bark 和肉豆蔻的香料，还有点 coal dust 和芥末的 quirky 触感。 整体 totally beautiful，深深满足，酒液在舌上 sloshing，像 glycerol 那么顺滑。63.5% 的酒精但喝起来不刺激，有点 mead 和 balsamico 的联想，热带水果和 green fruits 在背景里跳舞。 不过 bottles scarce，价格也 unaffordable，但能遇到一次就值了。Anti-maltoporn brigade 可能会嫌描述太多，但对我来说，这就是 Majestic palate 的体验。😊

Just had a dram – it's that lovely light amber hue, smelling of sultanas and tropical fruits with a whiff of Darjeeling tea. First sip brings dark chocolate and quince jelly, mixed with honey and olive oil. Totally forgot it's 63.5%, hits you out of nowhere! 😅 With water, it gets drier and the Gewurz notes get louder, alongside rosewater and resinous touches. There's this earthy, mustard kick and chilli pepper warmth, all wrapped in jasmine and dried mushrooms. Totally spectacular, deeply satisfying stuff – even if it's unaffordable and bottles are scarce. Gah! What a beauty. 🥃

Just had a dram of this one – light amber colour, lovely. Nose hits me with syrups and dark chocolate, then sultanas and olive oil. Gah! It's got that aged dry Gewurztraminer vibe. Tasting it, I get an impression of fat, myriad fruits, and a grating of nutmeg. There's a bit of balsamico and dried mushrooms too. Finish is long, with pine needles and soft wood resins – totally beautiful. Add a drop of water and the Gewurz notes come out louder, earthier and drier. It's deeply satisfying, with hints of rose jelly, chilli pepper, and pollen. The palate feels majestic, with exotic hardwoods and honey. I'm picking up some eucalyptus, rosewater, and cinnamon bark. There's even a touch of lapsang souchong and camphor. Totally spectacular! Bottles are scarce, so I'm savouring this. 😊
