Just tried a dram – the wax notes hit first, with citrus skin sharpness that's quite zestier. There's a mineral, straw-like side, and it's very cloudy in the glass. The finish is rather long, with some almondy and flowers coming through. It's putting on quite a show, with brine and plenty of lemon, reminding me of those classic peaty drams. No surprises here, just a sweeter kind of wax and a putty-like texture. Grapefruit juice and rubbery smoky mint add to the oomph. Overall, pretty unbeatable and right up my alley. 😊

Just poured a whisky and took a sip – it's a wild ride. Starts with grapefruit juice and plenty of lemon, sharp and zestier, like citrus skin. Then it's all waxes of the creation, with mineral and straw notes. A little bitterer comes through, evoking dandelions and flowers, plus salt and brine. The smoky mint is rubbery, antiseptic like cough syrup, giving old Laphroaig and Ardbeg vibes. Some fudge sweetness rounds it out, making the citrus more rounded. Pretty perfect, just perfect for a chill night. Finish is rather long – gets a loud applause from me! 👍

Feels warm and a bit cosy 🥃 Soft sweetness, some spice, and a wee oaky dryness at the end. Quite easy to sit with, especially on a chilly evening.

Alright, here goes... 🥃 Nose is a bit nutty, maybe some raisins? Can't quite place it. Then a lovely warm hit of... is that orange peel? 🍊 First sip is surprisingly smooth! Aye, a nice sweetness, kinda like honey. But then there's a proper smoky aftertaste. Proper campfire vibes. 🔥 Not bad, not bad at all. Got a bit of a spicy kick towards the end, a bit like cinnamon? Could be wrong. It's a decent sipper for a rainy afternoon. 😊 Tastes a bit like... memory? Does that make sense? Just feels cozy. 🧡 Might have had one too many already, words are getting a bit mixed up... Smashing stuff though. 👍
