Oh blimey, this drop is absolutely mental 😮 Pours out full gold, and the smell’s spectacular as on the nose right off the bat, very impressive overall, tastes very different to anything I’ve had lately too. Got that odd medicinal side first, then a surprise whiff of fresh milk, weird mix of chalk and eucalyptus tucked in there aswel. That medicinal side got even louder, extremely medicinal, such a very strange one innit? Tastes like lapsang souchong tea, salty and smoky aftertaste that just goes on, endless really. Salmiak galore too, that odd and intriguing medicinal side is pretty spectacular, my kind of medicine indeed, and the finish is incredibly thick.

Feel very different, endless, rubber bands snap in the back, eucalyptus lifts it, incredibly thick and spectacular. Very impressive 🥃

Just tipped it over and it hit me like a big, full‑gold splash—chalking on the tongue, then a rush of smokey lapsang souchong that felt like it was being licked by rubber bands. A surprisingly salty twist came out, like a blast of exhaust fumes that left a faint minty med‑side echo. The mediciness really turns up, clamoured next to overripe greengages—spicy, almost burning manure in the after‑taste. It’s endless, like a long‑running wave that just keeps going, sturdy, very impressive for a sip. Easy, pretty spectacular, like a very different, extraordinary white‑gold punch. 🥃

Wow, that dram hit me like a full‑gold rubber band stretched taut – incredibly thick and strong, with a salty snap that made me think of sea‑sprayed chalk cliffs. The first sip was a surprise, an overripe greengage fizzing under a blaze of eucalyptus smoke, then the medicinal side rolled in, like a dose of my kind of medicine, a bit of burning manure tucked behind fresh milk. This dram’s a proper head-turner – the colour’s this rich, full gold that catches the light just right. First sniff hits you with something very different, like lapsang souchong tea left out in a damp shed, plus this medicinal note that gets louder with every sniff. Overripe greengages and eucalyptus dance about, but there’s a chalky edge biting through, almost like licking a slate wall. Then it’s onto the tongue – incredibly thick, coats the mouth something fierce. Rubber bands and burning manure? Not the prettiest combo, but there’s a salmiak galore kick that’s oddly compelling. The medicinal side’s there too, but in a way that’s… well, spectacular. Finishes with this salty and smoky aftertaste that lingers like a campfire gone rogue. Very impressive, this one. Reminds me of an Ardbeg 1974 I tried years back, but this beats old Laphroaig by a mile. Endless, strong, and leaves you wondering if you’ve been kissed by exhaust fumes or fresh milk – not sure quite yet.
