Just poured a dram, pale gold in the glass, first whiff hits me with fresh hints of grass and a touch of tea tree oil, like walking through a damp garage after rain. There's a salty kick – tang of seawater mixed with salted honey and a hint of porridge laced with sea salt and honey. Feel the animalistic edge, a bit mechanical, like oil and clay mixing, with crushed green herbs and a whiff of shoe polish. The body is chewy, waxy, with a distillate‑derived fatness that lingers, good length, powerful but not harsh. West highland accent comes through, kinda hugely characterful, puts me in mind of putty and vase water, with a faint exotic fruit hint at the end. 😊

Poured a dram, the colour is pale gold with a hint of yellow flowers. First sniff brings putty, shoe polish and a punchy olive oil note, like opening a toolbox vibes with a whisper of cooking oils. There’s a west highland accent – sheep wool oils, crushed green herbs, fresh hints of grass, crushed flower stems and a touch of exotic fruit hints. On the palate it’s powerful, the potency of the distillate feels almost animalistic, with a chewy fatness and richness that reminds me of honey mixed with olive oil and salted honey. There’s a rustic, medical stuff edge, like vase water mixed with a drop of ink, and a superbly waxy finish that lingers with good length. It’s hugely characterful, extremely scarce, and has that challenging west highland style, like finding a secret stash in a garage. 🥃

There’s a faint inky note and a touch of yellow‑flower perfume that sits beside a cheeky tang of seawater, almost like vase water swollen with a bit of shoe‑polish shine. 这口酒像是从西高地某个老旧车库里飘出来的味道，浓得跟涂了蜂蜜的粥似的，还带着一股海盐的咸腥劲儿。头一口就能感受到那股油腻的厚重感，像是煮菜用的橄榄油跟蜂蜜搅在一块儿，又夹杂着什么草药跟药水的怪味。 颜色像淡金，但喝起来却像是嚼着一团蜡油，矿物质的味道特别足，像是刚从石头缝里滤出来似的。舌头上还残留着那种“刷过鞋油”的金属感，夹杂着什么动物油脂跟羊毛油的怪异余韵。 后劲特别足，像是一块泥巴糊在嘴里，又带着点墨水跟医用酒精的刺激。最后居然还能尝出点黄花跟异国水果的影子，但转瞬即逝，像是被什么机械油给盖住了。 这年份真稀罕，喝完半天都能回味到那股“必须藏起来”的霸道劲儿。

First nose hits you with crushed green herbs and flower stems, like a garden after rain, then this tang of seawater and wet clay creeps in. On the tongue, it’s chewy and waxy—superbly waxy, like licking a candle dipped in honey and seaweed. There’s exotic fruit hints dancing about, maybe passionfruit or something odd, but it’s the west highland accent that shouts loudest—mineral, animalistic, like licking a rock by the sea. The finish is long and powerful, leaves you with a medicinal kick, shoe polish and tea tree oil clinging to the back of your throat. Huge personality, this one. 🥃
