Lovely bit of gold in the glass tonight 🥃. First thing that hits is a proper pub cider aroma, mixed up with some overripe apples and a hint of honeydew. Taking a sip, it’s got this wierdly nostalgic vibe of a waxed tablecloth, which then shifts into an Oily tobacco extract flavour. It actually gets slightly cigarette-y, which sounds daft, but honestly it's not unpleasant at all! I'd even say it's very okay 😌. Has a really good length too, and right at the end I'm left with a wee feeling of manzanilla. Cracking little dram for the evening.

This one's got a real oily texture, almost like tobacco extract. Starts off rather tight but then opens up with this lovely honeyed sweetness. 💛 Getting a weirdly specific memory of my grandma's cupboard – old waxed tablecloth, dried herbs... oddly not unpleasant though. There's a wee feeling of manzanilla, maybe some overripe apples and honeydew coming through. The finish is waxy with a slightly cigarette-y note, like old teas. Really quite good length too. Not the most complex dram, but very okay, honestly. Found myself thinking "sappy honey" and a bit of cider as it opened up. Overall... rather okay, I'd say. 🤷♂️
