Just poured a glass – dark amber colour, looks rich. First sip hit almost hot, with lots of oomph – a bit rough but powerful, yet sweet and coating. 🌶️ It’s complex but hangs together well. Notes of fir honey and toffee come through, mixed with strawberry liqueur and a hint of rum. Fresh herbs and pepper tickle the nose, and there’s black nougat in the background. Whiffs of manure?
