Quite nice really, that honey note hits first. Kinda like sappy honey with a bit of overripe apple, almost cider-like. Then there's this waxy thing, like an old waxed tablecloth but not in a bad way? Has a good length to it, leaves a wee feeling of manzanilla sherry and some tobacco leaf. Not unpleasant at all. Quite good, very okay in fact 😊

Nice dram, this one. Deep gold in the glass, got that waxy texture that clings to the sides like an old waxed tablecloth at a summer fete 😄 Getting quite a lot of honeyed sweetness up front, mixed with overripe apples and a proper cider character — reminds me of those scrumpy ciders down in Somerset. There's something rather tight about it though, like it's holding a bit back. Then the tobacco comes through, oily and rich, almost like extract. Oddly nostalgic actually — reminds me of Grandma's cupboard, that dusty wooden smell mixed with old teas she kept tucked away in tins. Good length on the finish, lingering tobacco and honey. Quite good all round really 👍

Just had a nip and I'm getting this waxy, honeyed feel, like honeydew on a warm summer day, with a hint of overripe apples that reminds me of cheap cider. There's a faint, slightly cigarette‑y edge, almost like an oily tobacco extract you might find in Grandma's cupboard next to the old teas. The gold colour glints in the glass, and there's a wee manzanilla note that pops up after a few seconds – not unpleasant at all. It has a good length, sticks around a bit tight but in a rather okay, quite good way. Feels like sitting at a table with a waxed tablecloth, sipping something that's both familiar and a little surprising. 😊

First nose hits honeydew and a hint of cider, like a sweet breeze over a waxed tablecloth. On the palate it’s honeyed, with overripe apples and a faint note of old teas, plus a gentle tobacco whisper that’s not unpleasant. Finish is quite good, leaving a warm gold glow. 🥃

First thing I got was a whiff of apple cider and that old wood cabinet smell at my gran’s. Quite nice, actually. Sipping it now – there’s a waxy, honeyed sort of feel, like chewing on old beeswax. Fades into overripe apples and something like honeydew melon. A very okay dram, not unpleasant at all. Left a bit of tobacco leaf on the finish, with a good length. Feels a bit tight, but warming. 🍎
