Blimey, this one’s a proper mad one innit? 🤠 Pours a proper rich gold first off. First sniff you get that punch of burnt rubber, new rubber bands, tarmac and even a hint of new plastics, plus that bits of inner tube you get when you fix a bike tyre, proper vivid. The juniper and masala kick in straight away, with a little sweet chilli zing, and the finish is so long you can sit there for ages. It’s got obvious charms even with all the funky notes: walnut skins, black olives, peppered marmalade, a little salty tang from the olives and salted lemon juice, then that smoky fudge, tobacco and cigar and metal polish vibe comes through the end. It’s very phenolic, even a little kind of chemical with brake fluid, exhaust fumes and a hint of burnt beans hanging about, but it all works so bloody well? Proper excellent, such a crazy one but I’d happily neck this again any day.

First sniff hits me with smoked fudge and a whiff of tarmac, like walking past a garage after rain. On the palate there’s a rich burnt beans note, black olives and a salty tang of salted lemon juice, wrapped in a hint of new rubber bands and bits of inner tube. A touch of juniper and walnut skins gives it that old‑library feel, while a faint curry/masala spice lingers at the back. The finish is long, very phenolic, with a lingering tarry, almost brake‑fluid edge that fades into gold‑coloured peppered marmalade. Excellent dram – makes you pause and think. 🥃

Blimey, this is a wild one. First sip is like a proper punch of tarmac and old rubber, really reminds me of a bike workshop. Then it opens up to this crazy masala spice mix, with a hint of burnt fudge underneath. You get that obvious rubber band note, almost chemical, but it’s strangely moreish. There’s a long, tarry finish that lingers, with bits of walnut skins and a salty, smoky vibe coming through later. It’s honestly not for the faint-hearted, but it’s got this excellent, complex personality. Kind of feels like a flavour adventure. 😅 Definitely a sipper for when you’re feeling a bit daring.

第一口就跟着一股烟熏糖浆扑鼻而来，像是刚从烤炉里拖出来的焦糖布丁，还夹着点儿烤橡胶的焦味… 😅 然后是一阵突如其来的辣椒干和盐渍柠檬的刺激，简直像在吃泰式炒河粉时突然被人塞了根烟斗进嘴里。鼻子里还残留着点儿沥青和金属抛光剂的味道，跟上班时开车闻到的刹车油差不多。 后面渐渐平息了些，能尝到一点儿胡桃皮的干涩和烟熏无花果的甜，但总觉得哪里不对劲——像是有人把一块刚从马路上刨出来的柏油路面泡进了威士忌里，再加了点儿新胶带的味道。 😬 最后留下的，是一缕烟草和肉桂的余韵，像是抽完雪茄后把烟灰缸直接倒进杯子里。有点疯狂，但还挺有意思的…

Blimey, this one’s a real head-turner. First sip hits you with this intense, almost phenolic kick – like licking a bit of inner tube mixed with exhaust fumes. Then there’s this weird but brilliant combo of smoked fudge and black olives, all salty and dark. The finish is proper long, clinging to the back of your throat with notes of burnt rubber and brake fluid that somehow work? There’s a hint of cigars and metal polish in there too, but it’s balanced by sweet chilli and peppered marmalade. Tastes like someone’s thrown a massive curry and a masala into the mash tun – weirdly excellent though. The salted lemon juice at the end wakes you up, and that tarry, walnut skin thing lingers for ages. Not your average dram, but fair play to it. 🥃
