Blimey, this dram’s a right cracker! First sip hits you like a coastal breeze—marvellous saline quality dancing with wet limestone after a rain shower, proper briny and fresh. Then it’s all zingy lemon, sharp as concentrated juice mixed with seawater and clay, with this distillate purity shining through. Got a touch of mustard heat and a whisper of soot, but somehow it works. How lovely is this at only ten years? Finish’s got that fermentary tang and a hint of garlic that lingers—unusual but brilliant. Cor, it’s very lively stuff, that’s for sure! 🥃
