Hada dram that smelled like green pears and malted rye, with a whiff of ammonia and a touch of vegetables – quite odd but quite fun. The palate was almost opaque, very creamy, with ripe banana, dulce de leche and a hint of white wine. There's a note of Café au lait and vanilla, moving towards bourbon, with a long finish that tastes almost syrupy, and a whisper of nail polish. Reminded me of Rustic bread spread and Granny Smith apples, plus a bit of white asparagus. Overall quite promising, quite dry, with an enormous viscimetry feel – like sipping something between whisky and a 50% good old family-made limoncello, cigarillos on the side. Malty, almost like a top‑tier young grain whisky.

Oh, this one’s a proper character—like a young lad with too much energy but all charm. First sip hits you with that Granny Smith sharpness, like biting into one straight from the tree, then suddenly—whoosh—it’s all creamy vanilla and ripe banana, almost syrupy smooth. Almost like someone mixed in a bit of family-made limoncello, but not quite, just that citrusy warmth lingering. Then there’s this weird little twist—white asparagus, almost like you’re eating a fancy veggie spread, but it’s not vegetable in a bad way, more like a subtle hint, like you’ve got a tiny bit of nail polish remover in your pocket (not that I’d know 😅). The malted rye comes through later, dry as a bone but with this almost syrupy depth, like it’s been left to sit too long in the sun. And the finish? Oh, it’s long—dulce de leche and chocolate, like someone’s left a biscuit too long in the tin. A bit of cigarillo smoke curls up, and for a second you think, “Right, this is proper whisky,” but then it’s gone, leaving you with that creamy, almost opaque afterglow. Quite fun, really—like a cheeky youngster with big plans.

Well, this was quite fun – the texture's almost syrupy, like 50% cane syrup. Smells of Café au lait and Granny Smith apples with vanilla, and it tastes moving towards bourbon, with crème brûlée and dulce de leche coming through. For a young grain whisky, it's top-tier, honestly. The finish is long, Ovaltine lingers in the aftertaste, and there's a touch of cigarillos. Hints of vegetables and rustic bread spread make it quite dry, though. Get a bit of ammonia and acetone, but still quite promising. Colour's almost opaque, reminding me of molasses and chocolate. 🙂

Quite cosy on the nose — a bit of honey, oak and soft spice. Sips warm and mellow, with a wee fruity sweetness and a dry, toasty finish 🥃 Easy-going, nice for a quiet evening.

Just had a dram of this whisky and it's absolutely smashing! 😊 The nose is like walking into a bakery – warm vanilla and toasted nuts. First sip, it's smooth as silk with a hint of honey and ripe pear, then a little spicy kick that tickles the tongue. The finish is long and smoky, like a distant bonfire on a crisp evening. Feels like pure comfort in a glass! 🥃🔥 Not too harsh, just perfectly balanced. Makes me want another sip already!
