Poured a glass last night, that light gold hue is so inviting 😊 It’s got those water and oak extracts interacting so nicely, all that lovely sweetness, caramel, syrups and little hints of sweets right up front, then toasted pastries and toasted oak notes, plus that super distant whiff of damp earth that just pops out of nowhere. The grains take the higher alcohol so well, it goes down absolutely effortlessly, no burning or anything. It’s really similar to that Wemyss I tried a couple months back, same finish, same easy vibe, just a touch bigger, more emphatic, maybe a wee notch leafier? It’s sexy in a really uncomplicated way, not too heavy or intellectual, just a super easy whisky to sip without overthinking it. It’s good, just not quite my cup of tea I guess?

Hada wee dram earlier, felt bigger on the palate, the grains take higher alcohol well – sweet, syrups and vanilla. Water and oak extracts interacting give a soft, rather flattering feel. A touch of distant whiffs of damp earth lingers, same finish as before, same whisky vibe. Sweets and caramel notes make it go down easy, nice and relaxing 😊

This one pours a light gold, and the nose is all syrups and toasted pastries with a sweet vanilla kick. First sip’s smooth, the caramel and sweets making it rather flattering – very easy whiskies, if you catch my drift. The grains take higher alcohol well, gives it this bigger, emphatic feel, but there’s a wee notch leafier underneath. Water and oak extracts interacting nicely, leaves this same finish as the Wemyss – clean, no rough edges. It’s the kind of dram that goes down well, though I’d say good, but not for me. Bit too syrupy for my liking, but fair play to it.

Light gold in the glass, smells like toasted oak and vanilla first off. Sweetness hits straight away—caramel, syrups, almost like a wee bite of toasted pastries. Water brings out the oak a bit more, that interaction’s rather nice. There’s a tiny whiff of damp earth way in the back, but it’s all quite easy going. Finishes the same as the last one I had, just a touch leafier maybe. Not one to overthink, just goes down well 🥃

这酒颜色是淡金色的，看着挺讨喜 😊 闻起来有点香草糖浆的甜，混着一点点湿润泥土的气息——居然不讨厌。喝起来倒是比预想的饱满，橡木的纹理和甜味交织得挺俏皮，尾韵还留着烤过的谷物香…居然有点上头！唔，这种好喝又不费脑子的威士忌，周末晚上来一杯真的绝了 👍
