Pale gold in the glass, looks lovely. Honestly, it's like a proper dessert in a drink—lots of fudge, chocolate, and that rich millionaire shortbread vibe 🍰 Gets me thinking of those 6am croissants in Paris, with a bit of vanilla cake and roasted nuts. There's this strong chestnut honey and a hint of gingery oak, though the oak roars a bit too much for me personally. Funny thing is, it reminds me of some superb Chinese sauces, almost like that stunning sauce they serve with Peking duck. Just a bit fatter and heavier on the malt extracts. Really long finish, almost like a bit of custard and white chocolate. Bit intense, but quite a trip! 🥃

The finish is long, lingering like the buttery croissants bought around 6am in Paris, with a side of stout beer richness. Feels like one of those better grain whiskies that just keeps giving, superb sauces vibe all the way. 😊

The colour's this pale gold, quite fatter than I expected, and it's packed with these superb sauces notes – custard, vanilla cake, even malt extracts. There's a hint of chestnut honey that makes me think of millionaire shortbread, but then the oak roars a bit too much for me, gingery and bold. Reminds me of those croissants bought around 6am in Paris, but with a twist of Chinese dim-sum somewhere in there. The finish drags on lovely though, long and warm, but honestly, it's a bit too much for me tonight. Still, a stunning sauce with Peking duck vibes if that's your thing 🥃

Honestly, this one’s a proper treat. First sip and I’m right back in a Parisian bakery at dawn – those croissants bought around 6am, all buttery warmth. Then it shifts to something like millionaire shortbread, very rich, with a strong chestnut honey note underneath. A bit of roasted nuts comes through too. It’s got that malty depth, a bit like the better grain whiskies I’ve tried, but richer. There’s a hint of plum and chocolate in there, honestly. Reminds me a little of the stunning sauce they serve with Peking duck, oddly sweet and savoury. Even thought of some Chinese dim-sum, maybe the sticky rice parcels? Very well selected, this one. The finish is long, and the honey just lingers. A bit strong for me at points, almost stout beer-like in its weight, but I’m not complaining. 🥃

这杯威士忌刚入杯就让我想起六点在巴黎买的牛角包，奶香扑鼻，还带着点蜂蜜的金黄光泽。轻轻一抿，像是夹心蛋糕里的香草奶油，又像是焦糖布丁里的焦糖层，软糯又带劲儿。 木头那边有点像烤过的姜饼，但又不是普通的甜，更像是栗子蜜里藏了点姜片的辛辣。喝完一口，余韵里还有巧克力的绵密和白巧克力的清甜，像是突然冒出个millionaire shortbread在嘴里炸开。 最后那股劲儿，像是啤酒肚里藏着的那点劲道，又像是中餐里那道酱汁浓郁的北京烤鸭，让人忍不住再来一杯。
