Whiskyspace Notes 2155

Honestly this one hits in a very good way right off the bat 🥃 First you get that sweet coconut balls and strawberry jam pop, then it turns pretty fudge-y with a little menthol zing, followed by soft lemon curd and custard notes, plus hints of chocolate and mocha? Oh yeah, and that bourbony core tastes like maple syrup over millionaire shortbread, with little touches of orange and even a dash of passion fruit. The colour’s pure gold, and 1973s are so consistent with stuff like this, right? You could honestly sneak this baby into some blind old bourbon session and no one would clock the difference, it’s just a very well selected pour, very great news in my book. The coconut lingers a little longer than the other notes too, no real differences between sips at all, just smooth and lovely all the way through. 🤌
