Just had a dram that felt pretty thin at first, then some coffee‑ish notes and a hint of coconut water popped up, with a touch of toffee and milk chocolate. There’s a faint earthiness, a bit of woodier character, and a medium finish that leaves a slight sour apple tang. Not filled in sherry, more like a café latte vibe with a whiff of varnish – odd but kinda nice. 😌

Had a dram the other night that was rather fine, actually. Started with a sour apple kick, sharp and tangy like green sweets, then this chocolatey sweetness crept in, not too heavy though – pretty thin overall. There was a weird cologne-y edge, almost like Tia-Maria, mixed with earthy notes and a varnishy tang. Reminded me of milk chocolate and Cherry wine, but with a bitter coffee-ish finish. A bit like a latte-ish ale, if that makes sense. The gold colour was nice, but the sour apples kept popping up – almost like coconuts and toffee clashed in there somehow. Can't say I've had anything quite like it before.

First sip hits with a latte-ish and woody vibe, a bit of that Tia-Maria coffee thing. Then comes some cherry wine and praline sweetness, which is rather nice. Has a medium finish, but it’s pretty thin, almost empty towards the end. Get a little varnishy note too, like an old wooden box. Not bad, just feels a bit quiet for such an old one. 🥃

Took a sip and immediately thought of a tropical beach – coconuts and coconut water dancing around, but then it’s got this sour apple kick that’s a bit sharp. The cherry and banana wine notes give it a sweet, fruity vibe, like a dessert you didn’t expect. There’s a praline richness, almost like milk chocolate, but it’s not too heavy, more like a light ale with a coffee-ish undertone. The varnishy oak is pretty strong, woodier than I’d like, and the finish is medium, not too clingy. It’s like someone mixed a sweet liqueur with a splash of cologne – unique, but maybe a bit too much. Still, the gold hue and that thin, easy drinkability make it a curious one to try.
