Had this one the other evening, sitting by the fire. First thing I noticed was quite a strong varnishy note, almost like opening an old tin of wood stain. Bit off-putting at first, not gonna lie. Then underneath there's this coconut water thing going on, very light and tropical, but it feels a bit empty somehow. Like it's missing something in the middle. The body's pretty thin, doesn't really fill your mouth the way you'd hope. As it opens up, I'm getting sour apples, like a Granny Smith, mixed with touches of café latte and some toffee. There's a little Tia Maria note too, coffee liqueur-ish. And wait, is that banana wine? 🍌 Very strange but interesting. The oak comes through more with time, getting woodier, and there's a hint of praline and milk chocolate hiding in there. Some cherry wine notes too, quite sweet and fruity. A touch of ale character as well. Finish is medium, nothing spectacular. Leaves you with that cologne-y sort of feeling and a bit of varnish again. Overall it's rather fine I suppose, just feels like it could do with more depth. Not bad for a casual sip but wouldn't reach for it first. 🥃

Just had a sip of this whisky, and it's a real mix. The color's a nice gold, but the aroma hits with full of varnish at first—kind of sharp. Then it mellows to sweet liqueurs and café latte, almost latte-ish creamy. On the tongue, there's praline and milk chocolate, with coconut water and Coconuts bringing a tropical twist. I get banana wine and Cherry wine vibes, plus sour touches like sour apples. Feels pretty thin and empty, though, not filled in sherry. Finish is medium, leaving a coffee-ish and Tia-Maria aftertaste. Reminds me of chocolate pralines in a café. 🥥

Poured a glass and it caught the light like liquid gold. Smells like someone left a tin of sweet liqueurs next to a coconut drink—kinda inviting but a bit weird, you know? Took a sip, and oh wow, there's this rich chocolate note, almost like Tia-Maria, but then it gets a touch varnishy. It's not thick, feels more like a latte-ish mouthfeel, maybe even a bit thin. Underneath, I'm getting hints of banana wine with these sour touches, weirdly enjoyable. Finish is medium, woody, and leaves a whisper of praline and cherry wine. Rather fine for a quiet evening with some ales. 🥃

说实话，这杯闻起来有点像椰子水混着青苹果，仔细一闻又有点新家具的味道。颜色是漂亮的金色，喝起来比想象中单薄，带点酸酸的果味。后面慢慢出来咖啡和太妃糖的感觉，像在咖啡馆喝了一杯不那么甜的拿铁。偶尔能尝到点香蕉酒和樱桃酒的影子，尾韵带点泥土气息和淡啤酒的回甘。整体挺有意思的，就是质地有点轻飘飘的。

Honestly, this one pours a lovely gold colour. On the nose, I get coconut water mixed with something like a café latte – very latte-ish, you know? ☕️ There's a bit of toffee sweetness in there too. Taking a sip, it’s rather fine in texture. Not filled in sherry, so it feels cleaner. There’s that sweet liqueur vibe, but also a weird touch of varnish… quite full of varnish, actually. It’s got that woody backbone, and some earthy notes come through. A little sour touch pops up, kinda like banana wine. The finish is medium, and it leaves a cologne-y sort of feeling. Overall, it’s interesting, but a part of it feels a bit empty in the middle, with that coffee-ish note lingering.
