Whiskyspace Notes 1507

Well, I just had a sip and honestly, it's a bit of a mind-bender. The colour is that pale gold you see sometimes, but the taste... it's like a whole workshop unfolded in my mouth. First, there's this weird but cool "Picasso touch" – kind of abstract and artistic. Then comes a surprising note of cooked bell pepper and even artichokes in oil. You know, like from a deli counter? It's savoury in a way I didn't expect. But then it swings back. I get a whiff of tobacco, damp earth, and then this lovely, soft candied lemon and tart apple juice, almost like a dry cider vinegar but better balanced. There's a touch of clay, maybe, and a hint of truffle oil with soft mustard in the background. The finish is long, really long, and that's where it all comes together. All these odd little notes – the pepper, the oily Dailuaine-like feel – they just... settle. The aftertaste balances everything out perfectly. It's a proper rollercoaster. 🤯
