Blimey, this is a proper beast—thick as treacle, coats the tongue like a greasy hug. Peat smoke drifts in, not overpowering, just... there, like a wisp of Islay mist. First hit’s all medicinal punch—vapour rubs and carbolic soap, but then it softens into something deeper. Chamomile and green tea, a squeeze of lemon, even a hint of miso lurking underneath. That tarry, almost petrol-like edge keeps it wild, but there’s a sandalwood warmth too. Finishes long, oily, with a whisper of dried seaweed and pickled capers. Proper evocative stuff. Makes you close your eyes and just... smile. 🥃

Oh, I was just sipping this and it’s like a walk by the sea in Scotland. There’s this lovely drifting peat smoke, almost like a distant campfire, but then it gets this wonderfully thick, almost greasy texture on the tongue. I get these lovely notes of fresh linens and a bit of lemon peel, then it shifts into something more herbal, like a soft green tea with a hint of chamomile. It’s deep and beautiful, really evocative. There’s a touch of tar and hessian in there, but it’s balanced by this almost waxy oiliness. The finish is long and mouth-coating, with a whisper of wintergreen and iodine. It’s one of those drams that just makes you smile, you know? Pleasure and joy, pure and simple.

Opening the bottle, there's this lovely wisp of peat smoke drifting out, mixed with something almost like green tea and chamomile. First sip, it's got that real Islay character - tar extract and petrol notes, but underneath there's these gentle flavours of lemon peel and fresh grapefruit that balance it all out. The texture is wonderful, almost greasy and mouth-coating oiliness that just coats your tongue. As it opens up in the glass, it becomes softer but at the same time far thicker in texture. You get more soft tarry and hessian notes, hints of dried seaweed and frothy kelp. There's something medicinal about it too - like vapour rubs and various soft medicines, maybe a touch of iodine. The finish is long, thickly oily with smoked paprika and sandalwood lingering. There's this lovely note of fresh linens and smoked cooking oils that comes through. Honestly these bottles are still a tad underrated given how much pleasure and joy they bring. Perfect for a winter evening, especially during the Islay festival season! 🥃

刚开瓶就闻到很舒服的烟熏味，像雨后森林里的篝火余烬。啜一口，嘴里立刻裹满油润的质感，像融化的蜡烛混着柠檬皮和绿茶香。 隐约有点海风带来的矿物感，像站在潮湿的防波堤上。后段泛起淡淡的草药香，喉咙里留着温热的甜。 忍不住再倒一点，发现它变得更柔顺了，但酒体反而更饱满。喝起来有点像把晒干的海藻和烟熏木头泡进蜂蜜里。 整体很扎实，价格也合适，下雨天配本书慢慢喝特别惬意 😌

刚开瓶那股劲儿，嚯！让我想起小时候感冒涂的薄荷膏和樟脑油，但混着更复杂的草本香料味。 入口后……嗯，有点金属感，还有点像闻着加热过的食用油？但这不讨人厌，反而很特别。然后它慢慢变柔，但质地却变得非常扎实，妥妥的油润感。 你能尝到一丝柠檬皮和柚子的清新，夹杂着像新鲜亚麻布或者很干净床单的味道。后面飘出来的烟熏感很淡，像远处篝火的一缕烟。 最奇妙的是那些药房香料的味道，樟脑、药膏什么的，居然和淡淡的花香、甜味搅在一起，但不是那种扑鼻的香，而是很内敛、有层次地散发出来。 尾韵真的超长，而且有种很厚的油润感糊在口腔上颚，混着草本茶和一点点海盐的咸鲜。整体感觉它深藏不露，香气和味道都很有力量，非常厚重！💪
