Picked up a dram tonight — the nose hit me first with these Seville oranges and something like ginger spice, maybe a bit of leather polish too? 🤔 Sipped it and wow, it's sweeter than I expected. I get that candyfloss note mixing with a greener coffee kind of bitterness, and there's this triple-sec thing going on, like orange zests soaked in something boozy. Mid-palate, there's a hint of ham — weird, right? — and a touch of used matches. Then the finish comes in medium-length, with a whisper of wood smoke. Gotta say though, the palate is much nicer than the nose suggested. 😋 And yeah, it's all much rounder now, like it's settled in the glass. Oh, and did I mention the lees? That yeasty, almost bready undertone is lovely. Just a fine fine fine pour for a quiet night.

Fine fine fine，今晚这杯确实不错。闻着一般，但喝进嘴里的那一刻，哎呦，这可比鼻子告诉我的要好太多了。 果味更突出，特别是橙子皮那种清香和一点点triple-sec的感觉，甜丝丝的。口感也圆润很多。整体甜度挺高的，让我想起肉桂卷和棉花糖。 还有一些奇怪的联想，比如擦亮的皮具味，甚至有点像刹车片？但这不讨人厌，反而让我觉得这东西有性格，就像一个非常整洁的车库。 尾段是烘烤栗子、火腿和葡萄干那种咸甜交织，很圣诞节。有淡淡的木柴烟火气，还有用过的火柴味。收尾算中等吧，最后喉咙里留着一丝姜的暖意和一点点颗粒感。 整体是漂亮的琥珀色，像一口温暖的秋日。 😌

一开瓶就是扑面而来的橙子香，像是triple-sec那种甜橙酒，但又混着一些lees带来的复杂酵感和leather polish的温暖气味。甜丝丝的，有点像candyfloss。 颜色是很漂亮的amber，像温暖的落日。 喝下去第一感觉是烘烤过的roasted chestnuts，Seville oranges的苦味立刻跟上来，和更sweeter的底味平衡得很好。有种bitterish grittiness，但非常细腻。整体比闻起来fruitier，也much rounder，说实话palate is much nicer than the nose。 中段浮现used matches的火柴头气味和orange zests的清香。有点奇妙的是，竟然联想到brake pads那种有点工业感的味道，不过在这里居然fine fine fine。还有touch of ginger的暖意和cinnamon rolls的香甜。 偶尔会感到just a tad raw at times，尾段有greener coffee的酸涩和raisins的果脯甜，ham的咸鲜感也跳出来一下。回味是悠长的bitter oranges。 总之就是挺有趣的，不断有新味道冒出来😄

Bit odd on the nose at first — roasted chestnuts, orange peel, a wee hit of ginger, then something smoky like used matches 🔥 Taste is much nicer tbh: sweeter, rounder, with raisins, cinnamon rolls and a bit of candyfloss. Finishes with bitter orange, wood smoke and a slightly leathery, savoury edge. Quirky but quite enjoyable.

Gotta say, this one's got a lovely balance, innit? 👍 Starts off wiv a right proper smoky kick 🔥, then some dark fruits creep in - like plums or raisins, ya know? 🍇 Then a bit of honey sweetness comes through, mellows it all out. Ye can taste some oakiness at the back, maybe a hint of vanilla? 🍦 Lingers a bit, makes ye want another sip. Proper autumn drink, this. 🍂 Wait, there's a bit of leather or something earthy in there too? Interesting combo. Not bad at all, mate! 👏 Reminds me of sittin' by the fireplace after a long day.
