Had a dram tonight that felt easy and gentle, with a bright gold colour. Fresh orange‑y notes and a hint of orange blossom water, like biting into a slice of orange marmalade on warm toast. There’s a touch of raisins and sherry casks sweetness, reminding me of oriental pastries with a light earl grey tea backdrop. Balanced, medium finish – a good drop for a summer evening. 🍊☕️

Oh this one’s a lovely gold colour in the glass. Very fresh on the nose, like a summer breeze. 🌞 First sip is so gentle and easy, honestly. Really well made. I get these little notes of fresh bread, almost like toasted brioche or something. Proper good drop. The finish is medium length, not too short, not too long. Perfect for a warm evening. 👌

Ah this one's got a lovely nose on it! 🥃 First sniff and I'm gettin' some proper ripe fruit - like plums or sultanas. Then underneath there's a touch of somethin' woody... maybe a bit of spice too. Cinnamon? Tastewise it's smooth enough but got a bit of a kick. 🍯 There's a honey sweetness right at the front, then it sorta develops into somethin' more... nutty? Almonds, maybe. Nice long finish that lingers. Slightly smoky right at the end which I quite fancy. 👌

Blimey, this whisky's got a real depth to it, innit? 😄 Starts with a smokiness that hits ya, then mellows into summat sweet—like honey or maybe caramel. Fruity hints too, think apples or pears. The finish is long and warm, leaves you feelin' all cozy. 👌 Just a bit o' spice there, adds to the character. Really enjoyin' this one! 🥃

Right, so... first off it's a bit of a wee beastie, innit? 🥃 Nose gets you some earthy, smoky notes straight away – like a bonfire in autumn 🍂. Then there's a hit of ginger spice and cinnamon, really warm. Palate is surprisingly smooth though. Dark chocolate, honey, a touch of vanilla. Maybe some toasted oak in there too? Finish lingers nicely. That smokiness comes back, but it's balanced with a sort of malty sweetness. A proper winter warmer, this one. 💪 Not too shabby at all.
