Had a dram today that reminded me of a fruit salad whipped up by a three‑starred chef – bright blood oranges and crisp apple notes dancing on the palate. There’s a slight perfumy edge, then a rich, almost Clynelish‑like malt backbone with barley sweetness and oils and fats galore, giving it a perfectly fatty texture and a whisper of wax. It’s got that same brilliance I love, lived up to its name so gloriously. 😊
