Just had a dram and the nose hit me with lemon and pine needles, like a walk through a spruce forest after a sudden citrus storm 🍋. There’s a sweet syrupy side – think sugarcane syrup drizzled over straw – that balances a faint menthol chill. Mid‑palate you can almost taste terpenes and a clean, almost antiseptic aftertaste, but there’s no sulphur or any meaty notes, not even candles. It ends medium, leaving a subtle varnishy touch on the tongue. Quite a quirky mix, honestly.
