Blown away by this one honestly 🤌 First you get that buttery cereals hit, then a little white pepper tingle, even that weirdly nice splash of ointment and bath salts? Soft minerals come through next, then olive oil, fresh lychee, white wine tang. Some of these Benrinnes are very good no lie. Fruit cordials, geraniums, star fruit, light salinity, pink peppercorns, those green and white fruit syrups, slightly drying but not in a bad way. Quince, pineapple jelly, green banana, even a hint of grassy freshness at the end. Just seems to get better and better with time and water, honestly very lovely, gets more vibrant the more you sip 👌

Right, this one's a proper little journey, isn't it? 🍋 Started off with these lovely waxy lemons and green banana notes, almost like a fruit cordial from when you were a nipper. Then it just seems to get better and better with time and water — proper geraniums and white wine vibes coming through, with a bit of talcum powder softness. Very lovely stuff. There's a much 'fuller' fruitiness as it opens up — pineapple jelly, lychee, star fruit, even some juicy fruit bubblegum. Pink foam shrimp sweeties! 😂 Some of these Benrinnes are very good, and this is definitely one of them. Got these buttery cereals and soft waxes sitting underneath, with lemon oils and a touch of olive oil giving it a lovely round feel. Little bit of white pepper and pink peppercorns, light salinity, soft minerals — almost like bath salts in the best possible way. Ink and dried herbs lurking about too. Finishes long and slightly drying with a splash of ointment, grassy notes, a hint of aspirin, and elderflower champagne sweetness fading out. Blood orange and kumquat right at the end. Wonderful. Rather good. Gets better as you go along, honestly. 🥃

Ooh, this one’s a proper little charmer, isn’t it? First sip hits like a burst of elderflower fizz, all bright and fizzy, then those green fruit syrups sneak in—quince and kumquat doing a little dance. A whisper of banana and lychee sorbet, so fresh it’s like someone just cracked open a tin of tropical sweets. Then the back end kicks in with a proper grown-up twist: pink peppercorns tingling, a squeeze of blood orange, and this weirdly soothing talcum powder softness that lingers like a just-washed linen shirt. The oak’s there too, but not in your face—more like a splash of ointment on a graze, warm and slightly waxy. And it just keeps unfolding, like a good story. Gets better as you go along, that’s the magic of it. A tiny bit drying at the end, but in a classy way, like the last sip of a really good tea. Lovely stuff 🍍

Had a dram tonight, first sniff reminded me of white wine and a splash of lychee sorbet, then a hint of preserved lemon and white pepper tickles the nose. On the palate it’s soft, with fruit cordials, quince and a touch of cactus notes, finishing with a light salinity and a whisper of talcum powder. Gets better as you go along, really lovely 🥃🍋.

Really opens up as you sip it. 🍋 Waxy lemon, soft minerals, a wee salty edge, then fuller fruit and a bit of pink pepper. Finish is long, slightly dry, with grassy, buttery cereal vibes. Lovely stuff, quite moreish.
