Just enough to keep it interesting 🥂

Honestly this dram is such a lovely quiet little gem 🥃 First you get that soft fat, oily bready-toned oak base, then all that bright very citrusy stuff hits – lemon, pink grapefruits, tight and tart citrus tang, tangerine liqueur zing, not too in your face at all, not a bomb thank god 😅 Then there’s green banana, soft fruits, even a tiny hint of menthol, coconut water, and that weird lovely rutscherla note? Oh right, and a wee Alsatian Gewurztraminer vibe, plus after a minute it’s like banana cake and ginger tonic, even a faint pina colada nod without being sickly sweet, with a hint of fresh lotus leaves too, yeah that’s the one. It’s really discretely superlative, just hits all the right spots without shouting about it. That light gold colour looks proper nice too, finish keeps that citrus cut with soft bready oak, perfect for a slow sip on a lazy afternoon 🍋

Honestly, just take your time with this one 🥃 First you get that tight, tart citrus hit — super citrusy, lemon, pink grapefruit, a little tangerine liqueur zest that’s not a bomb at all, just bright and sharp. Then softer notes come through: bready tones, gentle menthol tingle, soft fruits like ripe peach and nectarine, green bananas turning into warm banana cake vibes, even a little coconut water and pina colada holiday feel if you let it sit. There’s a tiny wee rutscherla of Alsatian Gewurztraminer in the back, plus a faint lotus leaf fresh edge, and a little ginger tonic zing at the very end. Got a lovely oak base, fat and oily so it coats the mouth just right, and the whole thing’s discretely superlative, very very good. Gold standard for a slow evening sip honestly 🍹

Poured a dram worth taking your time with here. First thing hits you is this bright, very citrusy punch – like pink grapefruits and tangerine liqueur dancing together, proper sharp and tangy. But it’s not a bomb, more like a gentle wave. There’s bready tones underneath, reminds me of banana cake or maybe green bananas, with soft fruits lingering somewhere. Mid-palate brings out something curious – a wee rutscherla of Gewurztraminer, almost floral, mixing oddly nicely with menthol and ginger tonic hints. The oak’s there but subtle, and that fat, oily base keeps it all rounded. Finishes clean though, more tight and tart citrus lingering, like lemon peel and Alsatian wine notes. Definitely very good, that’s for sure. 🥃

哇 这杯真是 citrus 满点 🍋 一上手就闻到 lemon 和 tangerine 的甜香 有点像开了一瓶 tangerine liqueur 喝下去……口感好胖好油润 像裹了一层蜂蜜 中段突然飘来 ginger tonic 的微辛 混着 soft fruits 的温柔 还有点 banana cake 的烘烤甜 这个搭配意外地和谐 尾调慢慢转出来 oak 的沉稳 带一丝 menthol 的清凉 像风吹过 lotus leaves 整体不算 bombastic 但 really very good 得 take your time 细品 🍺😄
