Blimey, this whisky's got some real character, innit? 🥃 First off, I get a right ol' blast of smoky, coastal vibes, like a deep breath of sea air. It's a bit dirty, but in a good way, you know? Reminds me of a beach on a stormy day, all rugged and wild. There's this peppery kick, too, that grabs your attention. And then, I start to pick up on some tropical fruits, like mangos and passion fruits, lurking in the background. They're not overpowering, just adding a bit of sweetness to balance things out. I also get some bready notes, like fresh straw, and a hint of liquorice. It's all a bit fascinating, really. The flavours are quite instable, shifting about, but in a good way, like it's constantly surprising me. It's immense, this whisky, with a real stellar quality to it. Not too medicinal, thank goodness, just a nice, smooth finish. All in all, a cracking good dram, if you ask me!
