Right, so this dram’s a bit of a mixed bag. On the nose it’s all earthy mud and something wild – like whacky Macduffs charging through a farmyard, manure and fresh concrete in tow. There’s a yeasty tang, almost like old oatcakes left out too long, and a hint of Golden Grahams cereal milk. The pepper kicks in late, sharp as brake pads, while bitter herbs and beans make me think of a pub lunch gone sideways. It’s not very sexy, mind – rough around the edges with raw wool textures and metallic notes that cling to the tongue. The finish’s medium length but tiring, leaving behind a leathery sweetness that’s meant to be charming but ends up feeling more like chewing on a lawnmower seat. Chestnuts and mead pop in briefly, trying to class things up, but the white wine sharpness keeps it from settling down. Honestly, it’s like a gentler Macduff tried to mediate a fight between farmyard animals and a coffee grinder. Not sure I’d order another, but it’s got character 🥃.

这杯子真有意思，一开始像啃个烤栗子一样甜，但又不甜到腻，有点皮革的质感，跟你家旧皮夹子一样，暖暖的。然后突然冒出点水泥味，像是刚下过雨的马路，湿湿的，有点不舒服。 后面有点像咖啡渣子，又苦又不甜，但也不完全是苦，更像是啃过的树皮，有点粗糙。最后留下点酵母味，像是啤酒后面的那种清淡的苦，不重不轻，有点让人想打哈欠。 整体来说，口感不算长，但有点让人想起小时候吃的燕麦饼干，又不完全一样。不过最后那股子苦味，像是啃了只熊的爪子一样，有点让人想喝点水。

第一口像是刚铺好的水泥地上晒过太阳的草地味，有点湿润的泥土感跟着来，还夹着生咖啡豆的苦味。皮革的甜触倒是挺温和，像老皮靴被阳光晒暖的那种，但后劲有点费劲——像是喝多了之后脑子里塞了生黄豆和豆腐渣的味道，还有点生锈金属的尖锐感。 中段有点像在磨坊里闻到的生羊毛味，夹着泥巴和石头的火石气，有点像在花园里挖土时手套沾到的那种湿润矿石味。最后收尾是比较温和的，像是被磨平的刹车片余温，但没那么难受，就是有点累人，像喝完一大杯白葡萄酒后的那种疲惫感。
