Pale straw in the glass, quite crisper than I expected. First sip made me think of office coffee left a bit too long, with some weird burnt and rotten notes drifting about. Not too sure I’d call it one of those stellar whiskies, feels a little boring and a tad tenser as it sits. Hard, really, but there’s still something oddly cosy there 🙂

Oh my, this one's got a pale straw colour – looks innocent enough. 👀 The nose? Think office coffee, but crisper, sharper. On tasting, though, I get these weird burnt and rotten notes, and oddly, a soapy hint. Are you totally sure about this? It's a tad tenser, and things get ugly if you let those flavours sit. Reminds me of undercooked bread, or maybe barbecue together marshmallows and bacon? I mean, how smart – almost feels like they did this on purpose. 😅 It's hard, really, to wrap my head around. Would you swear under hypnosis this is good? Not sure I would.

Alright, so this whisky has got a proper smoky vibe to it, like a bonfire on a chilly evening 🌫️. First sip hits you with some sweet honey notes, maybe a bit of apple or pear? Then there's this subtle spice that lingers, giving it a warm finish. 😊 Tastes a bit like autumn in a glass, you know? Not too harsh, but def has character. Could use a drop of water to open it up, like. Cheers! 🥃

Oh, this one's a proper treat, innit? 🍊 Got a nose of ripe fruit and a bit of spice. Tastes smooth as owt, with a lovely warm finish. Really pleasant! 😊 A hint of vanilla and maybe some oak, goes down a dream. 🍂 Perfect for a quiet evening. 🙌 Bit of smokiness on the end, but not too much. Love it! ❤️

Right then... 🥃 Nosing this one: Hmm, get a bit of smokiness first, kinda like a distant bonfire? Then some sweet caramel comes through, lovely. Palate-wise, it's quite spicy, that oak is upfront. But underneath there's this wonderfl honeyed sweetness, and maybe a hint of dried fruit? Very nice. Finish is where that smoke comes back, along with a warm, spicy kick. 🔥 Overall, a proper robust dram. Makes you feel all warm and cozy inside. 🍯
