Right then, just had a wee dram and honestly, it’s like liquid sunshine. First thing I get is this lovely nougat sweetness, almost like a honey glaze over ripe vineyard peaches. But then—boom!—it flips straight to citrus. Not just any citrus, mind you. It’s practically pure mandarin juice, like peeling a fresh one on a sunny afternoon. There’s a touch of that Corsican mandarin liqueur in there too, that candied fruit vibe. Stunning really, how clear it is. Smitten, I am. It’s got this pleasant change from sweet to tangy, long on the finish, a dash of honey lingering. Reminds me of a cassata ice cream somehow. Pure bonkers how much the mandarin reigns supreme here. 🍊
