Proper gold in the glass. It's a tad thick, slightly waxy, but feels tense somehow. Thick yet nervous, you know? The flavour is pure barley, with straw and a hint of hay. Then the barley nudges its way back in. There's a whisper of tar and tiny notes of gentian, very lemony too. It's like a white square on a white background, even more pinpoint than I expected. Simply the preferred style for me. Basta cosi. 🥃

honestly this one hits different 🥃 pours that perfect gold colour first, feels thick yet nervous on the tongue, then that little hint of absinthe peeking through just wakes everything up, yknow? pure barley comes through soft at first, then barley nudges its way back in right as you swallow, bright lemon zing cuts right through, there’s even a tiny hint of hay and dry straw underneath. the precision is razor-sharp, no mess at all, just sublime purity – that almost Malevich-esque white square on a white background clean, uncluttered feel, slightly waxy on the finish too? it’s long, proper long, no harshness whatsoever. proper brilliant, this is simply our preferred style innit, proper pure Chichibu vibe.

Proper cosy dram 🥃 I get warm honey, a bit of apple, soft spice and a wee smoky edge. Feels smooth, mellow, and kinda comforting — like a rainy evening by the fire. Nice little tingle at the end.

Right, this one's a proper treat! Starts with a bang of spicy warmth, like a good ginger snap. Then you get this lovely honeyed sweetness, almost like sipping on liquid gold. The finish is smooth with a hint of smoky wood – reminds me of a cozy fireside chat. 😋 Bit of a citrusy zing there too, and that creamy vanilla lingers. Cracking stuff, that! 🥃
