I reckon this one’s a bit odd – the malt’s right up front, with orange blossom and nutmeg hitting first. Then it gets wacky with caraway butter and peonies, sort of like bread and oranges thrown together. Added a drop of water, and it saved the palate, letting the PX sweetness and doughy notes come through. The finish’s medium, with thin mints and cloves, plus hints of raspberry bread and sour red fruits. It’s panettone meets Seville oranges, really – the Kenny G. of malt whisky, smooth but strange. 😊

Right, so this one’s quite a curious dram. First thing I got was this sweet, bready note, like raspberry bread straight from the oven. Then it shifts into these sour red fruits and a big burst of Seville oranges. Honestly, on its own it was a bit strange for me – a bit too much like a Kenny G. smooth jazz solo of a malt. Too gentle. But with a drop of water? That saved it on the palate. The sharper edges round off. It keeps bringing me back to bread and oranges. There’s a touch of that festive panettone thing, maybe even some cassis buds. And at the very end, a whisper of thin mints. The malt is having the upper hand throughout, with a final sigh of orange blossom. A strange combination, but it works. Quite festive, really. 🍞🍊

我闻到的第一下是caraway butter和thin mints混在一起，有点儿像薄荷糖掉进了香料饼干罐里？然后cassis buds的酸甜冒出来，居然混着Orange blossom的花香，像在面包店闻到刚出炉的橙子软欧包🍊 喝下去的时候sour red fruits很跳，Port的甜润接着就兜住了。nutmeg和Seville oranges的组合有点wacky，像烤橙皮撒了层肉豆蔻粉… 嗯…这搭配真是bizarroïd，dough的发酵感和peonies的粉香飘出来时，我眉毛都挑了😅 PX雪利酒的蜜饯味慢慢渗出来，还好加了点水，舌尖上突然就通透了。 收尾是apricoty straw和cloves的暖意，最后居然幻视到panettone的黄油面包香——这杯像把圣诞市集和春天花园乱炖了，奇怪但停不下嘴 🤨

打开就能闻到一股挺复杂的香气，有点像走进面包房？那种面团发酵和甜甜果干混在一起的感觉。朋友们开玩笑说它是“malt whisky里的Kenny G”，听着怪但还真有点道理，挺柔和顺滑的风格。 喝起来… 哇，真的很多汁。橙花的香、糖渍橙皮的甜，后面还跑出来一点波特酒和PX雪莉那种甜润感。你还能尝到覆盆子面包、还有潘妮托妮那种果脯蛋糕的味道。🌾 麦芽的底子倒是挺扎实的，一直都在。 不过直接喝甜度有点压舌头，加了点水完全打开了。一下子，酸酸的红色莓果、塞维利亚橙子那种带点苦皮的味道都清晰了，甚至有点黑加仑芽的影子。香料感也出来了，丁香和肉豆蔻，最后还闪过一丝薄荷糖的凉意。 尾韵不算长，但留在嘴里的是混合的烤面包、橘子皮和一点点香料。整体感觉就是… wacky但有趣，像在尝一个放了很多料的复杂果子面包。🙂

哈，这瓶有点意思啊。闻起来先是那种蜜饯橙皮的味道，夹着淡淡的花香，像 peonies 什么的... 等等，居然还有一丝奇怪的 mint 感？ 喝起来就更疯了。malt 的存在感超强，但后面紧跟着一堆 sour red fruits，还有 raspberry bread 和 panettone 那种发酵甜香。说真的，Port 和 PX 的雪莉感也太明显了，简直像在喝某种果酱... 🤔 中段有点 doughy， cloves 冒出来的时候我心想完了，这组合也太 wacky 了。但别说，加了点水之后突然就顺了！之前那些打架的味道居然融合了，留下一段带着 Orange blossom 和 crystallised oranges 的 medium finish。 整杯喝下来就是个 bizarroïd 体验，从奇怪到奇妙... 最后一口居然是薄荷橙子的感觉？下次得配块黑巧试试 🍫
