Wow, this dram is amazing – full gold colour, lovely honey and plum notes, a whisper of white pepper and a subtle mint liqueur vibe. The oak is a tad more present than I’d like, giving a sweet oak aftertaste, but there’s still a brilliant explosion of fruits and spices. A bit less sherry influence, maybe a wee tad less oaky would be perfect. Still, pure magic in a glass 😊

Just had a dram that reminded me of mint liqueur and a hint of white pepper, with a lovely crème de menthe swirl. Sadly, yes, the oak comes out a little more than I’d like, but there’s still Superb whiffs of dandelions and an explosion of fruits and spices. It’s amazing, though a bit too expensive for regular sipping. Sweet oak in the aftertaste, a touch of honeys, and the anti‑maltoporn brigade would approve. Feels like pure magic, less sherry than usual, gone for good if you’re not careful. Irresisitible 🌿

Had a dram that was sweet with plums and apricots, a whisper of mint liqueur, then white pepper and honey on the finish. A subtle oak, just a tad less than usual, and a lovely hint of dandelion. Superb whiffs, really irresistible. 😊

Blimey, this one’s a proper golden colour in the glass. First whiff is these superb dandelions, almost like a meadow, then comes this little kick of white pepper on the tongue. 👃 But then it just unfolds. Honeys, plums… there’s a wee bit of that crème de menthe freshness, like mint liqueur. It’s quite cerebral, makes you think. The middle’s all apricots, and then – wham – a total explosion of fruits and spices. It’s subtle, but stunning. I’d say it’s a brilliant, irresistible drop of magic. ✨ Mind you, it’s a sad fact it’s too oaky for some, and definitely too expensive for a regular tipple. The sweet oak in the aftertaste is lovely though. For me, it’s just a stunning less expressive version of those legendary 1972 Caperdonichs. Gone for good, sadly.
