Just had a pour of this pale gold whisky – looks really natural in the glass. On the nose, I get tangerines and a bit of apple skin, with something that reminds me of porridge, maybe? There's a hint of paraffin, but it's not harsh, more like a bold backdrop. Taking a sip, it's less complex on the palate but very satisfying. Feels mashy, almost like mashed potatoes, with bursts of crystallised oranges. The oakiness is superb, and it has this compact, bold character. Finish is long and keeps you thinking – extremely fresh, like that vibe you get from an Orval beer. Really enjoyable! 😊

Lovely cosy dram 🥃 Bit of honey, soft oak and a wee touch of spice. Feels warm, smooth-ish, with a gentle dry finish. Nice for a quiet evening.

Oh, this one's a bit tricky at first sip, like it's hiding summat. 🔥 The nose has that classic charred wood smell, maybe a bit of dark chocolate peeking through. Taste-wise, it starts off with a smoky kick, then mellows into some sweet, fruity notes – think plums or sultanas. The finish is long and warm, with a spicy tingle that lingers. Really nice! 😊 A bit of a journey, but thoroughly enjoyeable.

Aye, this whisky's got a real kick o' smoke, like standin' by a campfire. 🔥 Smooth as silk on the tongue, wi' a touch o' honey sweetness. 🍯 Goin' down easy, no harsh notes. Quite moorish, innit? 🥃 Sometimes the oakiness comes thru, remindin' me o' autumn leaves. 🍂 And a wee hint o' spice at the end – cinnamon maybe? 👌
