Popped a bit of this open, and blimey, the nose is just dazzling. You get these whiffs of natural rubber straight off, like a fresh pencil eraser, but then it shifts into pink pepper and a proper lightly smoked tea note—Lapsang vibes but gentler. There’s an old official “black labels” feel to it, that slightly dusty, serious old-school fruitiness. Mangos and passion fruit start bouncing about, with tangerine wedges soaked in a fresh Sauternes sweetness. Somewhere behind that, a wee hint of honeysuckle and lime blossom, so floral it almost feels like a Corsican citron grove. 🥭🌸 Then this odd little Timut pepper zing—citrusy but numbing—mixes with liquorice root. Tiny bit of old Bushmills DNA in the background, that same honeyed, elegant spine. Totally impeccable, really. A fresh dram from start to finish.

Warm and malty, with a bit of vanilla, dried fruit and soft spice. Feels cosy rather than flashy 🥃 Finish is gentle, slightly oaky, and quite moreish.

Lovely warm dram 🥃 I’m getting soft smoke, a bit of honey, dried fruit and a wee spicy kick. Feels cosy, slightly oaky, and lingers nicely without being too heavy.
