Poured a dram that caught the light like liquid gold, you know? First nosing hit me with this lovely, soft floral thing – acacia flowers and a bit of pollen, almost like sticking your nose in a summer meadow. Then comes this sweet, cakey layer, like a proper mango cake or even a slice of pear tarte tatin. There’s a ghost of green Earl Grey in there too, and just the tiniest hint of something… like polished silver spoons from your nan’s drawer, if that makes sense? Very subtle. On the sip, oh wow. It’s all gentle tropical fruit – passion fruit and papaya leading the charge, but dipped in acacia honey. There’s a light, charming Fanta-esque sweetness, and honestly, some Champagne bubbles might as well be dancing in there. It’s got this lovely, soft, almost cakey mouthfeel, incredibly smooth. The finish keeps the honey and fruit going, with a whisper of mead and that ‘tannic’ tropical vibe, just a lovely, fragrant fade-out. It’s not a bold, shouting malt; it’s more of a quiet, contented sigh in a glass. Just very, very pleasant, with a few little changes in the flavour as you sit with it. Really enjoyed this one 😊.

Oh this one's got that lovely champagne fizz right at the start, makes me think of acacia flowers and lemon drops. It's delicate, you know? Like charming fragility in a glass. Then there's this sweet marmalade and acacia honey thing, with a bit of finger biscuit. Reminds me of grandma's silver spoons for some reason. Medium body, I'd say. The tropical fruits come through later – passion fruits, papaya, a bit of banana. Almost like a mango cake or a pear tarte tatin. There's pollen and flowers in there too, very summery. I get that remote putty-like soapiness, and a very, very faint sour and metallic side – but it's interesting, not off-putting. Green earl grey comes to mind. The wood's done its job after 30+ years, well-mannered indeed. And that Champagne! comes back in the aftertaste. Lovely. 🥃

Taking a sip, I'm greeted by lovely flowers and a spark of Champagne – feels like a cheeky toast in a garden. The body is medium, with notes of green Earl Grey tea and a tarte tatin sweetness that lingers. It's still flying particularly high on 'tannic' tropical fruits and honey, though a remote putty-like soapiness adds a quirky touch. Acacia flowers and lemon drops pop up playfully, and the aftertaste is all Champagne again! Reminds me of grandma's silver spoons – classic and warm. The light gold hue is charming, and there's nothing to complain about. Tastes like mango cake, pear cake, and finger biscuit, with 30+ years in well-mannered wood giving it depth. It's packed with stuff by our friends the bees, like acacia honey and mead. Passion fruits come to the front, with touches of Fanta for a light, fruity, cakey softness. The whole thing has a charming fragility, and banana notes sneak in at the end. 😊

Warm and a bit spicy, with soft vanilla, dried fruit, and a wee touch of smoke. Feels cosy, like a rainy evening by the fire 🥃 Finish is gentle but lingers nicely. Quite comforting, honestly.
