Mid‑palate brings olive oil, smoked cider and a whisper of cannabis resin, hinting at Cuban cigars and mezcal smoke. The finish is long, incredibly austere and straight, leaving a clean, luminous whisky feel.

Wow, this one's a proper showstopper. First thing I get is this really fresh, zingy lemon quality — like salted lemon juice mixed with lemongrass. Very dry and bright, almost catches you off guard. Then it shifts into something resinous and woody, reminds me of thuja trees in the garden after it rains. There's a bit of shoe polish weirdly enough, but not in a bad way? Just adds to the complexity. The middle gets all tropical — mango notes popping through with green pears. Really lovely fruity layer that balances out the drier stuff. What sticks with me most is this whole Cuban cigar vibe at the end. Smoky, slightly sweet, with almond paste coming through. There's definitely something resinous and almost propolis-like lingering there. The finish is incredibly long. Just keeps going with hints of coriander and that dry lemony unfolding they talk about. Absolutely luminous stuff ✨ Honestly feels like a whisky that doesn't mess about — straightforward yet full of surprises. One to savour slowly on a quiet evening. 🥃

Right, poured myself a dram tonight. Colour's proper gold, luminous in the glass. First whiff... crikey. It's incredibly fresh, like walking into a pine forest. There's this pinesap and resinous thing, almost like cannabis resin but cleaner. Then comes the fruit – grapefruits and a blast of green apple juice. A touch of sweet Vishnu spice, maybe coriander and that Thai basil. A sip... wow. "Don't play with me, I am the boss," it says. Incredibly austere and straight at first, then it just opens up. Fantastic dry lemony unfolding, with salted lemon juice zing. Then it gets softer – smoked marzipan, almond paste, and that propolis/waxy sweetness. A whiff of Cuban cigars on the finish, very classy. The aftertaste is long, really long. Keeps evolving. More lemongrass and mangos now, with a lingering smoky cider note. It's a real peacock’s tale of a whisky. 🥃

刚倒进杯里就闻到了，哇，这香味有点复杂啊！先是像打开了一罐热带水果沙拉，柚子、芒果、无花果的甜香混在一起，还带着一丝清新的香茅和罗勒味。 仔细闻闻，底下居然藏着点特别的东西...像是某种高级乳香和一丝非常干净的木头烟熏味，不是泥煤的那种，更像是烤过的杏仁糖和淡淡的古巴雪茄盒气息。 喝一小口，首先冲击到的是非常明亮的、有点咸咸的柠檬汁感，紧接着就涌上来一股“绿”意——很像新鲜苹果汁和香菜籽的味道混合在一起。尾调居然有种像蜂蜡和花粉般的甜美质感，而且收尾特别干净、干爽。 整体感觉这支酒...🤔 嗯，它好像有种“别跟我绕弯子”的性格，非常直接、有棱角，但里面的层次又像孔雀开屏似的慢慢展开。最后一丝胡桃木和橄榄油的油润感留在喉咙里，挺长的。 老实说，喝起来感觉很特别，有点让人捉摸不透，但又确实过瘾！✨

Proper dram this. Nose is all dried fruit & a whiff of heather honey 🍯 Palate’s rich, oily – dark toffee, a wisp of peat smoke, then a wee prickle of ginger 🌿 Finish lingers forever, oaky spice and just a memory of sea salt. Cracking sip, that. 👌
