First sip feels like walking past a fishmonger’s at dawn – all clean salt air and just-caught shellfish. There’s this lemony zing, kinda like squeezing a wedge over langoustines and winkles. Medium length finish, weirdly refreshing for something that also has a hot, sugary kick. Honestly, it’s totally pure and coastal, like chomping on kippers or clams straight from the tide. Weirdly reminds me of hessian sacks by the harbour. If the Waldhaus is a cozy Alpine inn, this is its exact opposite – a windswept, briny pier. 🐚
