这杯酒的颜色是漂亮的 reddish amber，看着就让人舒服。 鼻子一闻，先是 nice marmalades 和香草的甜香，接着有点 stewed redcurrants 和 rhubarb 的感觉，闻起来 wonderfully nose-tickling，有点像新家具的亮光感？挺奇特的。 第一口 starts very well，像有点 coconut wines 的感觉，几乎 fruity。但很快，heavy-toasted oak chips 的涩感就上来了，嘴里变得有点 getting dry。 回味有点意思，居然尝到了 old-school Ténarèze 那种 biting 的苦味，不是开玩笑！还有点像 tea 和 incense 的余韵。 总的来说，这酒有点 ambivalent，前面很甜美，后面又很 dry 和 oaky。味道层次很丰富，虽然不是我最喜欢的风格，但挺值得一试的 🤔。

Reddish amber in the glass, smells fresh but a bit old-school, like cedarwood, incense and stewed redcurrants with rhubarb drifting about. Tastes quite sharp and nose-tickling, sour in a nice way, then toffees, marmalade, coffee dregs and bitter chocolate come through. The oak’s pretty biting and dry, but honestly I’m enjoying that rough edge 😄

Lovely orange-amber glow in the glass. I get sweet little wafts of coconut, rosewater, honeydew and almonds, with a soft curry-ish spice tucked in there. On the sip it’s rather cosy, a bit chocolatey and lightly syrupy, but not overdone. Tiny grenadine touches, gentle oak, and a funny caraway nibble at the end. Quite a pleasant wee dram 😊

Reddish amber in the glass, quite lovely. First sniff is funny, starts superb with stewed redcurrants, rhubarb, vanilla and toffee, then suddenly goes a bit plain tea and coffee dregs. Sip’s got nicer sourness, bitter chocolate, cedarwood and loads of dry, heavy-toasted oak chips. After a while it gets properly dry, with incense and bitter oak hanging about. Finish has that biting old-school rustic thing, but the redcurrants come back nicely 🙂
