This one’s got a short nose, really quite shy – you breathe in and get these soft whiffs of vanilla and caramel, like those cinnamon cakes nan used to bake. But then it hits the tongue and suddenly it’s all oaky, like sucking wood or chewing on fir cones. There’s a sweet oak thing going on, proper heavy, almost too much. The distillate’s pretty quiet, let’s the barrel do the talking. Got this corn syrup stickiness in the finish, which puzzles me a bit – not sure if it’s a weakness or just how it is. It’s easy enough to sip, but the sawdust note lingers, makes me think of autumn bonfires. Gold colour, but the flavour’s more brown paper bag than polished silver. Still, it’s quite good if you like your whisky wearing a lumberjack shirt. 🥃

刚抿了的那款波本，酒液是透亮的gold色🥃 闻着有vanilla、软fufu的cinnamon cakes香，还带点fir cones的清爽感，本来以为是挺典型的oaky style，结果蒸馏基底几乎没冒头，short得有点 surprising，甜橡木感占了十分，蒸馏那边基本是0 喝进去的时候oak感超重，extremely plankish，满嘴都是massive的fresh sawdust味儿，还有点sucking wood的滞嘴感，混着vanillin和caramel的甜，softly spicy的暖意，尾韵甩不掉corn syrup的甜 整体其实quite good，算得上good bourbon，但整体感觉pretty shy，relatively shy的，还有个琢磨不透的weakness that puzzles me，yada yada yada，日常消遣喝挺合适😅

闻着像香草奶油蛋糕，有点焦糖的甜软软的。 唔…入口倒是 easy，softly spicy 带着玉米糖浆的味儿，后面 oak 味儿挺明显。 余味有点短，sweet oak 挂在那儿，金闪闪的色泽倒是好看。 整体挺柔和，就是后段那点 weakness 让我有点 puzzling… 但还算不错吧 🤔

这口酒一开始就跟木头来了一场亲密接触，像是把一块崭新的松木板子放进嘴里嚼，但又不是那种粗暴的木头味，而是软软的、带点甜甜的橡木香，像刚烤好的香草蛋糕上撒了点肉桂粉。 中间还能尝到一点点焦糖的甜，但转瞬即逝，像是被木头给盖住了。后劲里倒是有股淡淡的玉米糖浆味，跟着一丝淡淡的辛香，但整体还是木头唱主角，像是在喝一杯用新鲜松果泡的温水。 怎么说呢，这酒就是那种让人有点纠结的类型——明明木头味那么重，但又不像有些酒那样生硬到让人受不了，就是有点太“听话”了，像个安静的孩子，但又让人忍不住想问：你到底在哪藏着点什么？ 😅

Honestly, this one's got a real oaky style going on — like sucking wood in a forest after rain. Massive amounts of sawdust hit me straight away, almost extremely plankish in a way that's quite interesting 🪵 It's a good bourbon at heart, though I'd say the distillate was almost silent, you know? Sweet oak 10, distillate 0, yada yada yada. The corn syrup sweetness comes through softly, and there's cinnamon cakes vibes lingering around. Pretty shy overall, not shouting at you or anything. The weakness that puzzles me is how the vanilla and caramel notes just sort of... sit there quietly? Like it wants to be bold but keeps holding back. Fir cones in the background too, softly spicy. Gets quite nice after a minute though. Corn syrup in the aftertaste stays with you — pleasant enough, just wish it had a bit more going on 🤷‍♂️
