Deep gold in the glass, smells like Christmas fruitcake with a zing of tangerines. First sip’s all raisins and passion fruit, then the oak comes through but the lemon keeps it in check. Bit peppery, bit rounder than I expected. Cardamom lingers, and that sherried depth just gets better with time. Not the most graceful, but it’s got character 🥃

这颜色看着就挺舒服，是那种深金色，有点像秋天晒过的蜂蜜。 闻起来第一下是清新的柑橘调，挺醒神的，柠檬和青柠那种感觉。再仔细闻，又有点像芒果酸辣酱混着点香料味，挺有意思的。 喝起来不算猛，但胡椒的辛辣感立马就上来了，像舌尖上蹦了几下🔥。后面紧跟着是柠檬和橘子的果香，正好把那些很直接的橡木味给压下去了，平衡得不错。 感觉它层次挺多的，先是辛辣，然后是果香，最后嘴里留下点葡萄干和枣子那种甜甜的、干干的回味。偶尔还能捕捉到一点点豆蔻的香气，很细微。 整体来说，它不算那种特别斯文的酒，但喝着挺扎实，味道很集中。感觉放一会儿再喝，会变得更圆润柔和，果味也会更突出点。

Right, so this one pours a deep gold colour, really catches the light nicely. First thing I noticed was these lovely sherried notes coming through - think Christmas fruitcake, loads of raisins, maybe some marmalade in there too. 🍊 Then there's this fruitier side, tangerines mostly, with a bit of lemon that somehow managed to tame the wood influence. Adds more depth than your usual dram, if that makes sense. It's got this gentle peppery kick towards the end, nothing aggressive. The finish lingers nicely, quite long actually. Feels more round than a lot of stuff I've tried recently, though globally similar in style if you know what I mean. Honestly reckon this one would improve over time too - leave the bottle open a few weeks and it becomes another beast entirely. Proper good stuff. 👍

Right, so this one… first niff and it’s all warm caramal and a bit of sea spray. 🌊 Then a proper wave of baked applie crumble, dusted wi’ cinamon, and just a wisp of peat smoke – not shouty, more like a back note. Finish is dead smooth. Lingery toffee and a wee kick of spice. 🥃 Cracking dram for a drizzly evening.

Nose is all vanilla & honey 🍯, bit of spicy oak. Taste? Like a warm hug with toffee apples 🍎, then a peaty smokiness creeps in. Finish is long, sherry fruits linger. Proper fav winter dram. 🥃
