Poured a dram that glowed deep gold, the nose gave me a citrusy side of tangerine and a zesty lemon zing that somehow lemon managed to tame the wood, with an oaky backdrop. On the palate there’s a peppery and lemony kick, hints of passion fruit and dried fruits like raisins, a touch of sherried sweetness, a whisper of Cardamom and a bit of jams and fruitcake. It's excellent, rounder, more roundness and more depth than before, a fruitier version that improves over time in the glass. Finish is long, slightly less elegant but definitely another beast – sexier, with a touch of mango chutney on the back. 😊
