Blimey, this one’s a right lovely cross-category tipple 🥃 Pale white wine colour first off, then whiffs of clean earthy root veg – turnips, celeriac, more carrots, that rooty side with a tiny small soapy touch, even broken branches and fresh cut grass, plus hints of fennel seeds, angelica, gentian, gins and gentle smoky mezcal vibes. On the sip you get fresh zing of lime zest, peppery smoke, touches of olives, even a little wasabi kick, suet richness and that anise-like root aftertaste. Medium finish, pretty clean, tequila finish peeking through at the end – proper good trans-category spirit, no messing about.
