This dram’s got a proper punch at 41.7%, but it’s got a surprising lightness to it – like the polished wood of a Rolls-Royce dashboard, smooth and refined. The nose hits you with touches of old vin jaune and fino sherry, all orchardy and western fruits – mangos to apples and apricots – plus a hint of mint and fennel. On the tongue, it’s a whole basket of fresh fruits, but there’s an herbal twist with dill and vetiver, almost like a walk through a garden. The oak stays un-drying, giving it a subtle, lingering warmth, while the finish is surprisingly long, with hints of wormwood and something almost Cough lozenge-like. No big mouth feel, but the elegance and fruitier notes keep it rather fresher than expected. It’s like the whisky’s got a talent for repartee – sharp, cheeky, and oddly refreshing 🥃✨

Golden glow in the glass, like sunlight through a cathedral window. Dill and fennel twirl together, a herbal dance with a dash of mint. Fruits burst back - mangoes, apples, apricots, all piled in a basket. Olive oils, tropical ones, slick and smooth. A whisper of old vin jaune, maybe a touch of fino sherry. Polished wood again, but not dry, still holding on. No big mouth feel though, just lightness that’s not light at all. Responsive, like it’s chatting back. 41.7% feels right, not too much. A little thuja wood from the oak, subtle. Cough lozenges? Maybe, but it’s all balanced. Deep gold, elegant. Surprisingly long finish, like a conversation you don’t want to end.

Poured a glass, it’s that deep gold colour, like the polished dashboard of a brand new Rolls-Royce. First whiff – there’s a little drops of mint and some aromatic herbs, but also mangos and tropical ones coming through. It’s rather fresher than I expected. Take a sip... No big mouth feel, but there’s elegance here. I’m getting olive oils, a lighter fruitiness like apples to apricots. There’s a touch of something old, like vin jaune or fino sherry, maybe a hint of dill or wormwood. The oak gives some polished wood notes, a little thuja wood, but it’s un-drying. Ends with a hint of cough lozenges and some vetiver, surprisingly long. 41.7% keeps it Responsive, with a lightness that’s not light at all. Almost a cognacqy side to it, like it’s having a talent for repartee. Really balanced. 👍

Right then, just had a sip. 👃 The nose is lovely, very vanilla and some gentle smokiness, a bit like a bonfire in the distance. Tastes proper nice – sweet, with a hint of honey and a touch of dark chocolate. Gets a little spicy toward the end. Finish is long, warming, and a bit nutty. A cracking dram, really. 🔥

Oh blimey, this whisky's a right treat! 😋 Starts wiv a proper smoky whiff, like a bonfire in November. 🍂 Then you get this lovely sweet vanilla and honey notes, really smooth. Finishes wiv a warm oaky tingle – makes you feel all cozy inside. 🥃 Cracking stuff, really! slight typo: "wiv" for "with" to sound more casual
