Just poured a measure that smelled like oily rags mixed with a bit of lanolin – reminded me of an old Barbour jacket left in the shed. First taste hit with a sharp acid drop, then camphor and a hint of eucalyptus tea, wet moss underfoot. There were green notes of parsley and nettles, a touch of hessian and sunflower seeds, plus a whisper of kumquat zest. The body felt very firm and increasingly mentholated, with a buttery white wine softness breaking through. Finished very crisp, almost chalky, leaving a dry, clean aftertaste 🥃

这家伙刚入口就跟人打了个招呼——一股湿毛巾夹着药房气息，像是小时候涂的那种薄荷棒冰。接着鼻子里塞满了刚割下的草地味儿，夹杂着奶油面团的甜腻和一丝生面团的生涩。 喉咙那头像是咬了块烤得焦黄的麦芽饼干，带着矿石的干脆和橄榄油的油润。后劲上来，鼻腔里全是桉树茶的清凉，像是突然被人灌了一大口薄荷水。 最后余韵里藏着几颗金桔的小酸粒，在舌尖上蹦跶两下就消失了，留下一股亚麻籽油的余味和白花花的矿泉水感。整体像是被人用力揉搓过的Barbour夹克，又硬又扎实，但又不失一丝奶油的滑腻。 🥃

Blimey, that’s a proper old-school one! Woof—right off the bat, it’s like a greasy mechanic’s rag with a wee hint of citrus pith, then bam, wet moss and sheep wool oils. Feels raw, almost like chewing on sunflower seeds and pastry dough, but there’s this chalky, mineral edge too. Finishes long, mentholated, with a whiff of eucalyptus tea and a touch of vapour rub. Proper oily and firm, like it’s been sitting in a Barbour jacket pocket for years. 😅

Wooft! That's a proper beast. First sip hits with this incredibly raw, direct-fired distillate energy—almost brash. 🤯 The nose is a wild mix. Wet moss and chalky minerals, then this petrolic, oily rag note that shouldn't work but strangely does. Loads of grass and green parsley, with a hessian sack and sheep wool oil vibe underneath. Very austere, like a taut Loire white wine. Palate is greasy and powerful, oily in texture. Huge barley extract and pastry dough come through, with sunflower seeds and toasted brown bread. Then a wisp of camphor and vapour rub, with hints of citrus pith and kumquats cutting through. It's very crisp and mineral despite the oiliness. Finish has good length, turning increasingly mentholated with eucalyptus tea and bergamot. A subtle medicinal quality lingers, alongside lanolin and that buttery white wine feel. Honestly, the palate gets a tad simple after that complex nose, but otherwise superb. 🤷‍♂️

Wooft, this is a proper odd one 😅 Loads of grass, wet moss, mineral oil and a wee camphor kick. Feels quite naked and raw, with that greasy Barbour-jacket thing going on. There’s white flowers, cereal, toasted brown bread, and a bit of citrus pith too. Firm, aromatic, slightly austere — like Sauvignon vibes but in whisky form. Finish hangs about nicely. Not super complex on the palate, but defo memorable.
